FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Fordland Clinic Partners with American Liver Foundation to Offer Free Liverstat Lab Tests for Qualifying Patients
Fordland, MO —
Fordland Clinic, in collaboration with the
American Liver Foundation (ALF), is proud to announce the availability of free Liverstat lab tests for qualifying patients. This comprehensive test includes a Liver Panel, Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP), and Gamma-Glutamyl Transferase (GGT). Results are typically available within five business days.
The Liverstat test is an important tool in identifying potential liver health concerns and assessing risk for heart disease and stroke. By supporting early intervention, the test can help patients take proactive steps toward better long-term health.
To qualify for the free test, individuals must have at least one of the following risk factors:
- Pre-diabetes
- Increased triglycerides
- Diabetes mellitus
- Hypertension
- Increased cholesterol
- Metabolic syndrome
“Through this partnership with the American Liver Foundation, we’re able to give our patients another tool to monitor their health and address issues early,” said David Steinmann, Fordland Clinic. “We know that early detection saves lives, and this is another way we can break down barriers to preventive care.”
Patients who were unable to attend Fordland Clinic’s
National Health Center Week, where free Liverstat tests were offered without appointments, can still take advantage of this service. Established patients may schedule an appointment with one of Fordland Clinic’s primary care providers at the Fordland location now, with services coming soon to the Springfield and Kimberling City clinics.
