"Sunshine in the Weeds": A Poetry Session with D.A. Irsik

The Kimberling Area Library will host D.A. Irsik, a Kansas author, for a presentation from her first book of poetry entitled "Sunshine in the Weeds." The book reflects both life good and challenge from the perspective of a mother, daughter, and friend in her younger life. Reviewers have noted that Irsik's work "warms the heart where the sun has forgotten to shine and offers a spark of magic and sense of possibility found in the mundane."
